This is a custom, aluminum, precision machined, one piece adapter plate to mount a Trijicon RMR

red dot sight to the S&W 41 with the old style second generation sight and barrels that have the dovetail shown in the descriptive picture.

For reference, the dovetail between its narrowest point is approximately .384 inches.

No machining required. Includes two stainless steel set screws.

This adapter plate provides the lowest mounting height possible and also allows

the use of standard holsters with a small modification.

shown is a S&W 41 with a 5 1/2" barrel with the adapter mounted.

The S&W 41 was produced with several sight variations over the years.

This adapter will fit barrels that have the unusual 74 degree dovetail angle.
