Smooth cam controlled movement of the translator is maintained.
Additional control flexibility of having an independent motor drive
for the translator can be beneficial. This translator is supplied with
 a cycling drive allowing independent cycle on demand operation
It can be implemented in any of the following applications.
Parallel to Line Flow - Part Transfer, Nest to Nest, Velocity Matching
Across the Line - Part Transfer, Pick and Place, Light Seating or Press
Offload - Synchronous Transfer, Pick and Place Motion
Walking Beam - Synchronous Tandem Transfer, Walking Beam Motion
Overhead Across the Line - Part Transfer, Pick and Place
The "Box Design" of the external housing provides a rigid enclosure
and permits mounting from any of the 6 sides. Stelron Translators utilize
large diameter, hardened and ground cams for low wear and maximum
motion flexibility. The "X" cam is directly engaged by a cam follower
attached to the main carriage block. The "Y" axis operates through a
bell crank and yoke mechanism. The carriage block and "Y" axis linear
guide rods are supported by high quality linear ball bushings.
The Translator features all rolling contact throughout the mechanism
This unit is ideal for repetitive pick and place motion for loads up to 50 lbs.
Dimensions of Translator only are 14" x 9-1/4" x 10-1/2" high.
Also Included:
  Speed reducer GR-2-1 with a 60:1 reduction ratio and a max output
  of30cpm with a 1750 RPM motor. Worm gear is continuously lubricated
  in oil chamber. Motor mounting flange has a 4.5" locating diameter
  with a 4.125" square bolt pattern. Input shaft diameter is 5/8".
  Aluminum housing machined from solid block. Gear reducer has manual
  adjustment knob.

This item is used - in Like New condition - Unit was part of an ink jet cartridge
automation assembly cell. Cell was qualified for payment but not put into
production. Shipping weight 280 lbs. Actual pictures of translator.
